Hi Everyone,
We have arrived in Cambodia today and settled in. We've had supper with Kalyan Tith (our Cambodian director), her family and the Cross Current students and had a wonderful evening. We've got a full day ahead with church and several visits to follow-up programs.
This morning we woke up in Bangkok to find ourselves surrounded by some beautiful Thai architecture. My dad and I went exploring (since we couldn't sleep anyway) and found a neat Buddhist temple just across a small canal from our hotel. The trip from Bangkok was semi-adventurous and pretty non eventful. As to be expected everything cost us probably twice what it should and the "police" were satisfied with a $4 "service charge"... what a joke!
I just noticed that there's a easy access slot for a usb key on this computer and I'll do my best to update you with some pictures tomorrow. However, for now, I think I'll hit the hay (I've been working hard to get on to a "local sleep schedule" and am very ready to crash!)
